SMF Designs (Structural Mezzanine Floors) operates mainly in the greater Cape Town area and with a new branch in Ceres is reaching further into the Western Cape, yet we do also supply and install country wide. The business was started in the year 2000 by Antoinette van Vuuren who had up until then been working in the industrial steel shelving and storage systems industry for the past seven years. With her drafting and design background and the knowledge of the steel industry as well as various business and technical skills acquired along the way Structural Mezzanine Floors was established. SMF Designs (Structural Mezzanine Floors) have since been specializing in the design, manufacture and installation of structural steel mezzanine floors with a steel or timber deck, platforms, walkways and steel ramps and staircases. SMF Designs operates mainly in the greater Cape Town area doing on site installations as far as Vredenberg, Worcester and Somerset West, yet we do also supply and install country wide. Furthermore we have exported galvanized kit form steel mezzanine floors which is likewise useful for transportation to further South African locations. Our teams are well trained and very efficient and accommodating on site. Collectively they have a wide variety of skills including site management, rigging, welding, carpentry, painting and deportment. They are adequately equipped for safety and are quite agile throughout construction. Apart from steel structures and staircases, SMF Designs also provides a wide range of steel shelving and racking to maximize your storage needs.
